Goal
This task is to design and optimize a set of signage for Dawson college. Dawson College has multiple wings and a complex floor plan. The tremendous information needs to be analyzed.
Design Thinking
The design should be considered very carefully since it is for school. The signage must be highlighted but serious to emphasize Dawson College’s trustworthiness and its positive study environment. Therefore, I decided to go in a direction that can be playful and serious at the same time.
Solutions
The fact that the book is bilingual can be convenient for the reader. The book sleeve uses a transparent material which reminds us that the artist has worked with film concepts in the past. While illustrating the cinema side of the book, the material also protects the book cover.
